Hi. I guess you could call me the owner, or the CEO or the mastermind behind this operation. I’m really a simple guy. I design websites. In fact, I love to design in general. I guess you could call it a passion.
I’m married, with no kids. My wife and I live here in Austin. She has some fancy-pants job with ACC. I sit in front of my computer all day looking at code and graphics. I first became needful of being a web designer about four years ago. A friend of mine, Jason Gaylor (you might have heard of him), used to show me these beautiful websites and after awhile, I became jealous. So in my envy, I decided that I wanted to create beautiful things too. This path has led me to where I am.
Web design is more than a job for me. It’s almost a way of living. Through this process, I’ve become more aware of aesthetics in other areas of my world. When I’m writing, listening to music, even in the code itself — one can find order and coherence and ultimately, beauty. I feel that design is essentially about reflection. Great design reflects life. And taking precedance from that belief will lead me to take inspiration from who you are as a person and what your company is as a business and thereby reflecting who you are in both web and print.
If you want to know more about me, you can do some of the following: buy my books, stalk me on mySpace, stalk me on Virb, view my photos, listen to my twittering or view my thoughts on God and Christianity. Hopefully, you’re not psycho enough to do all of that, but if you are, I won’t hold it against you.
